I Want to Show you my New Brazilian Wax
OUCH!!!
Was what I thought I would be yelling while I was getting my Brazilian wax. I have wanted to try a Brazilian wax for a while. In the past I would just shave, which then was perfectly fine with me. Then I went through this phase of being natural as it came. I would just trim around here and there but never going bare nor even close to bare. So when I found out I would be going back to Miami for the weekend I thought, well… I have to go back with something new. This is something I do often when I travel; I like to change something of mine: my hair, my nails, new clothes, new shoes, something.
My hair appointment got cancelled so I thought ok what is next? I started surfing the net trying to find a salon to get my hair done, I checked Craigslist, Google, Yelp, then Groupon. As I was calling around to salons from Groupon listings I kept coming across listings for a Brazilian wax. Shortly after I was drifted away from the hair problem on my head and started tuning in to my other hair problem.
I called one place from the Groupon listings and the woman who answered the phone was very unprofessional. Plus they didn’t have the date and time I needed, so of course I did not go with them. I then called another number and a woman picked up. Over the phone she was so friendly, so lively, so comfortable to speak to, and professional. I thought alright I will go with her! I was so excited, but also very nervous. I took another shower, got dress, and went out the door. I was on my way to get my first Brazilian wax.
I went to Brazilian Beauty in Marietta, GA http://www.brazilianbeautywax.net/. As I got to the place I went into a private room to meet a woman who was even more interesting and bubbly in person then she was over the phone, her name was Marcia.
She gave me some paper work to fill out before we got started. She then told me to take off my bottoms and lay face up on the bed. I was given the choice to listen to music or for no music to be played. There was no music in my session, instead we talked. She told me she would then put baby powder on my girlfriend (The name I will be us using in substitute for the pubic region). This was going to help with gripping. Then she explained that she uses hot wax. She put hot wax on one part of my girlfriend and ripped it off moments later. I glanced and seen the hair on the wax, and OMG it did not hurt! I was shocked, because I was expecting everyone in the building to hear me yelling and screaming. She repeatedly put hot wax and pulled, hot wax and pulled, until the hairs were all off. Sometimes some areas were more sensitive than others so she would have me do breathing exercises to help make it more bearable. They helped a lot!
She finished the front side so I thought I was done, but wait! She said, “ turn around, and lay on your stomach.” It was my other girlfriends’ turn. I had to help aid by holding one of my butt cheeks to the side. The joke was if I didn’t do it correctly they would both get stuck to the wax, and I would never be able to use the restroom again. I loved her humor. Of course I made sure I held it right. This part went by fast, and there was no pain whats so ever. I was finally done.
She explained some post treatment things I should do. Truthfully I forgot exactly what was said, but I swear I did what she told me to do. Do not put any products on the area for 48 hours. Although, if you go out in the sun put sunscreen on the area. After 72 hours use a scrub on the treated area to help prevent ingrown hairs. Also, this Brazilian wax should be done around every 4 weeks for continuous results. It went something in between those lines.
She said do you want to see it? I thought is this a trick question? I mean I can wait until I go home to look in the mirror I suppose. She then brought out a mirror. As I glanced at my girlfriend I wanted to laugh!!! It was a little funny to me because I have not seen her undressed like this in a long time. As I put the mirror down I thought damn my girlfriend is one fine female!
